Our story begins with Eddie Pollendine, who worked as a builder in the Cambridge area after leaving the Navy following the Second World War. He built the reputation the family name still carries today — honest work, done properly, for people he knew by name.
His son, Chris Pollendine, followed him into the trade and established Pollendine Builders in 1986, carrying that same hands-on approach into a new generation and building the trusted builders that so many homes across Cambridge have relied on ever since.
Today that family experience continues through Pollendine Ltd, led by Aron Pollendine as the third generation — with his son, Dylan, now working alongside him too. Together they carry out extensions, renovations, period-property and heritage building work, maintenance and repairs with the same practical, straightforward approach that Eddie started with all those years ago.
